Reiki Training Classes

Reiki teachings are passed on through a series of workshops given by a Reiki Master-Teacher. In these workshops you are taught the history behind Reiki, its uses and benefits, Reiki ethics and protocol, as well as hand positions for self-treatment and positions for treating others. In addition to all this, you will undergo a series of attunements. When a person has been attuned to Reiki their physical and etheric bodies are tuned to a higher vibratory frequency allowing them to channel the universal life energy without effort.

In addition Reiki utilizes a series of sacred symbols designed to strengthen the link to the vibrational energies. These symbols are used during the attunement process and are taught to students studying Level Two.

CHILDREN’S REIKI CLASSES

Bringing together Reiki and the young is a sure recipe for magic on Earth.  This program is designed for those 5 to 12 year olds that march to their own beat and hear the sounds and feelings of ALL. These young ones are manifest on this planet as teachers, guides and leaders and bringing Reiki to them enables clarity and validation of their inherent abilities. Children with special needs, in the autism spectrum, diagnosed ADD or ADHD especially benefit from Reiki training.

   • Help reduce stress and anxiety

Reiki is taught along with fun, simple activities that when practiced, enable children to handle and release the emotions associated with the stresses of their life. Child and parent/caregiver take the class together. These classes are usually taught in small groups or can be taken privately.

CHILDREN'S REIKI 1 CLASS:

Engage in song, crafts, mindful movement, visualization and circle time

(An attunement will be offered during each class, the acceptance of which is entirely up to the child. The emphasis will be placed on experiencing Reiki and putting words and feelings to this experience through art, movement and sound.)

CHILDREN’S REIKI: LIFE-THREATENING CONDITIONS CLASSES (LTC)

Reiki helps promote balance and well-being in the body on all levels. It is widely known that Reiki energy treatments help to reduce pain and stress which may help the immune system gain strength. Childrens LTC classes teach Reiki to a parent/caregiver and a child as a team. Learning to share Reiki energy is easy and you as a parent or caregiver can have the added benefit of bringing a relaxing calm over you and your family while dealing with the stress of caring for a seriously ill child. Learning Reiki for themselves gives a child a sense of control at a time when they feel they have little or none. During doctor visits, hospital stays, awaiting tests, before and after surgery, these are all times when you can quietly give Reiki to yourself or each other bringing in a calm energy to help see you through.

Reiki is taught along with fun, simple activities that when practiced, enable children to handle and release the emotions associated with the stresses of their life. These classes can be structured to meet the needs of your family and can be taught where it best suits you and your child, in my studio, the hospital or in the privacy of your own home.

Reiki Level 1

Reiki restores the balance between the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental levels of all living things. It can also affect reconnection between spiritual beings (animals included) and the universe around us. Reiki training offers important benefits for both self-healing and treatment of others.

Level 1 Reiki training incorporates a series of three attunements and hands-on training. The attunements open energy channels enabling the student to connect with the Reiki healing energy. This is an important aspect of Reiki - energy comes through the person, not from them - making this form of healing a safe one. Training encompasses the history of Reiki, spiritual aspects, and practice treatments for self and others. Through a series of exercises students develop their abilities to perform a complete Reiki treatment through sensing and working with the energy fields of humans and animals.

You will also be introduced to the basics regarding your aura (energy field), chakras, grounding, centering, and shielding. You will be taught how to cleanse your aura, your workplace and your home.

Reiki is easy to learn, and one can enjoy a lifetime of benefits from the training. Classes are small (maximum 4 students), so that students receive more individual attention, and are offered on a basis that fits anyone’s schedule.

Students receive written materials in a booklet, Reiki Level 1 certificate suitable for framing, and support for questions at any time after class is completed.

Reiki Level 2
(Prerequisite: Reiki 1)

Reiki Level 2 encompasses:

Three Level 2 attunements which bring an increase in the ability to facilitate emotional/spiritual healing as well as a widening and deepening of your energy channels (some say 100 times stronger than Level 1)
Learn the three sacred symbols
Learn distance healing where you will be able to send energy for the highest good to a person, animal, place or situation
A Reiki doll or Reiki box can be made to be used for distance healing work
Byosen scanning and beaming
Reiki meditation will be performed for meeting your Reiki guide.

This class also helps us do more personal growth with Reiki.
Classmates support one another in creating healing through our group discussion and Reiki sessions.

Classes are small (maximum 4 students) so that students receive more individual attention, and are offered on a basis that fits anyone's schedule. Reiki Level 3
(Prerequisite: Reiki 1 & 2)

This is the Master attunement in which you learn the power and energy of the master level without being expected to teach and perform Reiki attunements. You change. Once you’re attuned, you relate to the world differently. Reiki practitioner’s begin to attract and generate to a different vibration and Reiki Master’s do so in the extreme. But, it’s up to each Master to work with the energy and expand their own abilities. While the Master’s class touches on many things, this class goes well beyond. It is for those Masters that wish to advance their skills, learn new techniques from other modalities and open themselves to a higher connection. As with the other levels there is another step up in the energy, both for personal healing as well as healing for others. Reiki 3 will deepen your experience with the Reiki energy and your connection to it while facilitating deep personal healing.

The difference between Reiki 3 and Master/Teacher training is one of time and intent. In both trainings you receive the Master attunement, Master symbol and training in its’ uses.

Reiki Level 3 is for everyone who feels called to take it, you only need say you want to be in the class and sign up. Reiki 3 encourages students to consider Reiki’s relation to the world within and around us. Reiki 3 includes intense personal development, defining and clarifying how the universe speaks to us individually, as well as evaluating Reiki’s role in the world and in our lives. This class makes better practitioners by assisting us to grow as individuals, and thus to become clearer channels for the Reiki energy. It also helps us define Reiki more clearly for ourselves.

You will receive:

Two Level 3 attunements

Learn more advanced techniques for self-care
A special technique known as a healing attunement which heals and strengthens the effectiveness of Reiki sessions.
Plenty of time for hands-on practice

You will:

Examine effective means of utilizing your own body senses and connection with the universe to simply “know” what is good for you or not from crystals, to food, to relationships.
You will be able to feel intuitively.
Learn methods to remove blocks and negative habits, balance your chakras, immediately boost your energy system and deepen your own energy center.
You will be amazed at what you can do!

Reiki Master/Teacher
(Prerequisite: Reiki 1 & 2)

This is the level of teacher. This is the highest level of responsibility as the Reiki Master holds the space for students to learn and grow with Reiki. The commitment to become a Reiki Master comes from deep within the student and requires that Reiki is the students life.

While you may or may not want to run formal classes, you will be able to provide informal sessions to friends and family and attune them to Reiki.

The training includes all the information discussed in Reiki Level 3 with the addition of:

Discussion on the values and ethical considerations for a Reiki Master
Traditional Usui Reiki Master Teacher attunements.
Instruction and practice on giving all attunements including Reiki Master
A special technique known as a healing attunement which heals and strengthens the effectiveness of Reiki sessions.
An advanced Reiki meditation that harmonizes the energy of the chakras
A Reiki Master certificate upon completion of course
Lots of practice time doing attunements
Resources, discussion, and support for developing a Reiki practice and teaching Reiki

With the Master/Teacher course, there is an added commitment of practice hours outside the classroom, giving treatments both to yourself and others. 100 Hours of hands on Reiki practice must be journaled in order to receive your Master/Teacher certification.

Reiki Master training is an apprenticeship and takes place over a period of time, usually 6 months to two years. Reiki Master training is by application only, you must write a brief description of why you want to take the training, what your intention is, and I go off and meditate to see if I am the right teacher at this time.

REIKI SHARES

Continuing practice, support and sessions for practitioners. It is great to give and receive! Trade sessions with other practitioners. Discuss questions about your practice with other practitioners and a Certified Reiki Master. Gain experience, knowledge and support for all stages of your Reiki journey!

REIKI CLINIC

Reiki clinics are offered monthly for special groups. Cancer treatment, Veteran’s, Jacob’s Heart Children’s Cancer Support Services, Special needs children.
